After selling more then 388 new Triumph Boats over 6 years we regret to inform you that we no longer carry the line.
The parent company went into bankruptcy on or about June of 2009.
Like all customers of GENMAR, dealers as well as those buying the boats we were all concerned about what was going to happen.
Will the warranties be honored and taken care of?
Will they come out of this and start building again?
In the beginning and for several months after that turned into more then a year, all the answers we got were yes.
When they started building again we were faced with a major price increase that we felt was above what the market could take for Triumph Boat. We had already taken on an upscale line of boat named TideWater Boats that was selling very well in the market place. TideWater Boats being a smaller company that is well funded and efficiently managed providing a high level of customer satisfaction. A boat company that never stopped building boats even when most all other lines were going under or at least shutting down for several months to get by. We felt then as we do today that TideWater Boats is a company we can feel good about selling and owning. A boat company we can build a future with.
We chose not to take Triumph back.
About Warranties, We are working with Triumph Boats and our customer base of over 388 Triumph Boat Owners to service any and all warranties that come up. Triumph boats is on a “Case by case” basses looking at each warranty we submit on behalf of our customers and in most cases they have helped out by providing parts at no charge an in a few cases they have even paid a little labor.
In most cases Triumph Boats supplied the part and the customer paid the labor.
